ABOUT
I just graduated with a Master's student at Tulane University in the School of Science and Engineering. My Masters of Science will be in Earth and Environmental Science. I was under the advisement of Dr. Mead Allison. I looked at ground elevation change across Southern Louisiana by using InSAR analysis techniques. This work was presented at AGU 2022 in Chicago, IL.

I graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Geology. I grew up in San Antonio, Texas, and spend my summers on Long Beach Island, New Jersey. At, LSU I was very involved on campus from being the Lead Ambassador at the College of Science Ambassador, College of Science Leadership Council, President of the Geology Club, a leader in the Delta Gamma Sorority, a Distinguished Communicator Medal Recipient, and much more.
I was also involved in Dr. Samuel Bentley's Marine Sedimentology lab since the Fall of 2017. I started as a student worker in the lab. But, I worked hard during my time to complete an undergraduate thesis project. Completing this project influenced my decision to attend graduate school. I wanted to attend a school and learn from an advisor that focused on understanding coastal resilience issues. This is what I have at Tulane University. Here I have learned more about coastal erosion and sedimentological patterns off of significant rivers, such as the Mississippi River.

I have a passion for teaching and academia. I was recently awarded the Teaching Assistant of the Year (2022) for the Earth and Environmental Science Department. But, after graduation, I want to use the knowledge I have obtained to work in industry. This stems from an internship I did at Kimbrell Associates, LLC in Baton Rouge, LA during my time at LSU. I learned skills in ENVI, ArcGISPro, and a side of environmental consulting that I did not know about. I am now working with the Coastal Protection Restoration Authority as a Sea Grant Fellow. This fellowship has shown me how funding applied coastal protection and ecosystem restoration research impacts Louisiana.

I am now a Plan Fomulator at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Specifically, I work on Ecosystem Restoration projects.
